We’re actively refining the technical documentation for BlockDAG’s API, with our latest focus on the Swagger documentation for the BlockDAG Explorer.
This Swagger interface offers a comprehensive breakdown of API endpoints, enabling developers to interact with BlockDAG’s data and integrate with our Explorer seamlessly.

Here’s a deeper look at what the Swagger doc provides:

• Endpoint Structure: Each endpoint is clearly structured with its HTTP method, URL path, parameters, and detailed descriptions, making it easy for developers to understand and integrate into applications.
• Interactive Testing: The Swagger UI enables developers to simulate API calls directly within the documentation interface, making testing and debugging seamless by displaying response structures for swift troubleshooting.
• Data-Rich Search Endpoint: The get_v1_api_search endpoint is particularly versatile, allowing dynamic queries across a range of data types within the BlockDAG blockchain. Whether it’s blocks, transaction info, or contract addresses, this endpoint returns precise, structured data ideal for applications needing real-time blockchain data.

This documentation is continuously updated as new functionalities are added, ensuring developers have access to the latest resources and the most robust information for integrating with BlockDAG.

As we progress through our current milestones, we are actively planning and discussing the next steps for Phase 3. This phase will be packed with community-focused features, and we are currently finalizing the scope to ensure it aligns with our broader goals.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the objectives under discussion:

• Scalability Enhancements: We plan to improve system performance by enhancing node synchronization, data retrieval, and transaction throughput. These upgrades will enable BlockDAG to handle high transaction volumes efficiently, keeping latency low.
• New Features in Explorer: We’re also exploring new feature additions in the BlockDAG Explorer, which are currently under discussion. These features will aim to improve user experience, data accessibility, and usability within the ecosystem.
   

Phase 3 embodies BlockDAG’s commitment to community involvement and transparency. As the roadmap solidifies, we look forward to sharing more specifics and gathering your feedback to help guide development further.

Our team is actively expanding the depth of market data available within token contract listings on the BlockDAG Explorer.

Here’s what’s in development and what you can look forward to:

• Market Data Integration: Real-time market metrics, including price, trading volume, and liquidity stats, are being integrated into the token listings, making the Explorer a richer resource for anyone tracking or trading tokens on BlockDAG.
• Token-Specific Analytics: Each token will be accompanied by analytics detailing on-chain behavior and market activity, providing insights into ownership distribution, transaction patterns, and token-specific data points, all updated dynamically.
• Comprehensive Technical Specifications: Enhanced detail on token standards (ERC-721, ERC-1155) will be available, including metadata such as images, descriptions, and videos when available, empowering developers and token holders with a complete view of each asset.
   

These additions will transform the BlockDAG Explorer into an essential tool for token analysis, combining real-time data with in-depth technical insights to serve developers, traders, and analysts alike.

We recently received feedback from our community regarding address conversion issues during node setup.

Specifically:

• Community Report: Some users reported that their TK addresses are not converting back to the corresponding Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) addresses, which caused concerns about mining reward accuracy. One user mentioned wanting to ensure that TK addresses convert correctly so mined tokens are directed to the proper address.
• Our Response: The BlockDAG technical team is actively investigating this issue. We’re reviewing the address conversion mechanism in the node configuration pipeline to ensure TK addresses properly resolve to EVM-compatible formats, ensuring accuracy in reward distribution.
