As we reach the end of the week, here's a quick recap of our
progress and achievements:
Weekly Highlights
- Amazon Store Launch: We kicked off the week by successfully uploading our build to the Amazon store. Verification was completed within minutes, and our app went live almost immediately.
- Targeting Google Play and Samsung Store: We're continuing our efforts to get our application live on the Google Play Store and Samsung Galaxy Store. Stay tuned for updates on these platforms.
- User Enhancements: To improve user safety and experience, we implemented several key enhancements, such as:
- Adding more robust validations for phone numbers, specifically detecting and blocking internet-based numbers.
- Sprint Planning: We discussed and prioritized updates for the next sprint, focusing on features and fixes that will deliver the most value to our users.
- Huawei Cloud Account: By the end of the week, we successfully
created our Huawei Cloud account, opening new possibilities for our
application's deployment.
Blockchain Explorer Progress
In parallel with our application
updates, we've made significant strides on the blockchain explorer:
- Scope 1 Explorer: We are nearly finished with the deployment,
development, and testing of our Scope 1 blockchain explorer. By next week, we
aim to make the devnet live with the blockchain explorer.
Daily Update
Here's what we've been working on
today:
- Apple TestFlight Issue: While making features live on TestFlight, we encountered some errors from Apple's side. Today, we are in communication with Apple to resolve these issues.
- Conclusion: We were able to solve the issue and upload the build with the help of Apple support team.
- Android APK Update: We updated the Android APK with the latest
changes to ensure users can access the most recent version of our
application.
Account Setup and Build Uploads
Today was heavily focused on
setting up accounts and uploading builds:
- Huawei Cloud and Amazon Store: We dedicated time to setting up our Huawei Cloud and Amazon Store accounts. By the end of the day, we successfully uploaded the latest build in both environments. For Huawei cloud the application is in review state currently. We'll share an update on this as soon as we receives the news.
Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work to make BlockDAG better and safer for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates next week!

Sprint Planning
In our sprint planning meeting, we
discussed the upcoming modules and enhancements that will be included in the next
scope of development. Here are some of the exciting features we are
considering:
Contracts Module
The Contracts Module will
enable users to interact with various smart contracts directly through the explorer.
This will include functionalities such as:
- Viewing Contract Details: Users can see detailed information about smart contracts.
- Executing Functions: Ability to call functions on the smart contracts and see real-time results.
- Transaction History: Access to the history of transactions
involving specific contracts.
NFT Module
The NFT Module will provide comprehensive support for
non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Features will include:
- NFT Listings: Users can browse and view details of listed NFTs.
- Ownership Verification: Check ownership and transaction history of NFTs.
- Minting and Trading: Options for minting new NFTs and trading
existing ones.
Support for All Types of Contracts
Expanding the explorer’s
capability to support a wide range of smart contracts, including but not limited to:
- ERC-20 Tokens: Support for viewing and interacting with ERC-20 tokens.
- ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs: Enhanced support for various NFT standards.
- Custom Contracts: Flexibility to interact with custom-developed
smart contracts.
What’s Next?
We are excited about the possibilities these new
modules will bring to our explorer. The detailed scope of the next development phase
will be shared soon. Our goal is to continually enhance the BlockDAG Explorer,
making it a comprehensive and user-friendly tool for blockchain interactions.
